On Tuesday, Feb. 2, the Federal Bureau of Investigation announced it would join the criminal investigation into Flint’s water crisis, according to Gina Balaya, spokeswoman for the U.S. Attorney’s office in Detroit.
Balaya announced that federal prosecutors in Michigan are “working with a multi=agency investigation team on the Flint water contamination matter, including the FBI, the U.S. Postal Inspection Service, he EPA’s Office of the Inspector General and the EPA’s Criminal Investigation Division.”
