I’m pretty sure that everyone has heard the phrase, third time’s a charm. It is by this phrase that I often make decisions. As I was perusing the August 2015 issue of Glamour magazine, I saw a mini spread on saddle crossbody bags, and they described them as “the riding boots pf purses”. I thought to myself that these purses were cute and would certainly be a great staple, but I wasn’t convinced. On a normal shopping excursion to Target, a beautiful blue saddle bag caught my attention, and I looked at it remembering the Glamour issue. Still, I wasn’t sold. So over the weekend, I got my monthly subscription of Essence Magazine and what did I find in the fashion trends section. You guessed it! A saddle bag, and it was one of the one’s from the Glamour article! I was sold, but of course the bags from the magazines were nowhere near my budget.
