ATLANTA — The United Negro College Fund will present the 36th installment of UNCF An Evening of Stars® at the Atlanta Civic Center on April 12, 2015 at 5 p.m. The show will air nationally on Sunday, April 26 10p/9c on the BET Network.
The annual show, which highlights the importance of minority education, will be hosted by Anthony Anderson and consists of musical performances, student stories and scholarship presentations given by celebrity partners. Last year, Trey Songz, Jill Scott, Usher Raymond, Snoop Dogg and Cedric the Entertainer partnered with UNCF to provide scholarship funds for students in need.
This year’s performers include K. Michelle, Yolanda Adams, Estelle and Jussie Smollett of the blockbuster TV series “Empire.” More entertainers will be announced soon.
