Election 2014: Synder and Schauer's Final Push

schauer-snyderOn the eve of Election Day 2014, Michigan’s incumbent Governor, Rick Snyder and former U.S. Representative Mark Schauer made their final push in a close and competitive race for Governor.
POTUS Barack Obama visited Detroit last Saturday in support of Schauer and the democratic ticket, while New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie visited Monday to give Snyder a final push towards the finish line.
Why all the fuss? Historically the midterm elections determines whether the controlling party will be Democrats or Republicans for Governor (in most states, including Michigan), U.S. Congress, U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate.
Political ads for candidates in each election are in full swing, with the recent poll by Public Policy Polling, showing only a one percentage point lead to Gov. Snyder over Schauer, every ad, flyer passed and campaign phone call is crucial.
Even more crucial than each candidate’s campaign is your vote. CLICK HERE to find your polling location and more information about Election Day 2014.
