Dynamic Self-Starter CEO Offers Kids a Business Of Their Own Regardless of Age

natashaKID CEO Program breaks age barriers to help create a successful forward-focused generation. Offering everything from entrepreneurial education, to home-based business assistance for the blind, to business support service on a budget, one Michigan-based company creates a new standard.

Launched at the age of 23 by Natasha Lee-Maxwell in her brother’s basement, the Make Your Dreams Come True Corporation (MYDCT Corp.) is all about being a visionary.  Creating new realities for those typically thought of as limited, MYDCT Corp. has assisted countless entrepreneurs with starting their own businesses.  Now, the enterprising business support service launches a new campaign; to help children with start up company assistance.  Turning kid entrepreneurship into an achievable thing, students get expert help one manageable week at a time.

The MYDCT Corp. KID CEO Program offers education either on-site or via virtual classes to students 8 to 18 for $25 a week.  Students learn to build websites, create business cards, understand how to incorporate their business, get an EIN number, as well as do their own branding and marketing.

Lee-Maxwell said of the new program’s positive results, “Working with local children to equip them for the business world has been simply amazing.  All of Natasha’s children ages 16, 14 and 8 are inspiring business owners.  We have to realize, there really are no limitations as long as we maintain a clear, concise plan and continuous effort.”

Believing that every person can enjoy the sense of accomplishment one’s own business can bring, MYDCT Corp. also helps the blind work from home.  This special program helps the disabled to either use their own skills, or teaches them one, in order to be self-sufficient.  Lee-Maxwell adds, “To have the honor of working with the blind for the last four years is such a privilege. When I was awarded at the state capital for the work I’ve done it was so humbling.  I felt so honored and so proud of our program.”
