DWSD to hold Contractor Fair at Marygrove College

On January 14, the Detroit Water and Sewage Department will hold a Contract Fair for the public. From 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM, contractors, sub-contractors, and more will have an opportunity to learn about upcoming city projects. The topics that will be covered include:

  • Overview of the 2021 Construction Season
  • Capital Improvement Project Updates
  • How to do Business with DWSD
  • Civil Rights Inclusion & Opportunity Program
  • Technical Assistance
  • Business to Business Networking
  • Contractor Spotlights

There will be several speakers at the event. The featured speakers are:

Palencia Mobley (P.E. Deputy Director and Chief Engineer – Detroit Water & Sewerage Department)

Monica Daniels (Finance Asset Manager – Detroit Water & Sewerage Department)

Kari Farina (Contract Analyst – Detroit Water and Sewerage Department)

Arielle Johnson (Deputy Director – City of Detroit Office of Civil Rights, Inclusion and Opportunity)

Michael Kelly (Director – Wayne State University Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC)
