Joni Thrower Davis

Joni Thrower Davis is a Second Generation McDonald’s Owner Operator of four McDonald’s in Metro Detroit. She is also General Counsel to the family’s 30 locations in the Michigan and Louisiana markets. Thrower Davis is active locally, regionally and nationally as she serves in various capacities in connection with the McDonald’s business. Locally, she is Chair of the African American Consumer Marketing Committee (AACM). Regionally, she serves as the Vice Chair of Finance and Operations for the Chicago Field Office Field Alignment Council. Nationally, Thrower Davis was appointed to the Opnad Multi-cultural AACM Committee. Thrower Davis sits on the Boards of The Wright Museum, Ronald McDonald House of Detroit and the Eastern Market Corporation. She serves as an advisory board member for two young adult-based non-profits Teen Hype and Winning Futures. Thrower Davis is a Commissioner with the cities of Westland and Detroit and a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Recent awards include the global McDonald’s Ray Kroc Award, Crain’s 40 under 40 and the Wolverine Bar Association Golden Gavel.
