DTE partners with local agencies for customer outreach and assistance

DTE Energy Customer Assistance Day at Perfecting Church in DetroitDTE Energy is sponsoring and coordinating a number of customer assistance and energy efficiency events as part of the seventh annual Week of Warmth, presented by The Heat and Warmth Fund (THAW), the week of Nov. 6.
Customers in need are encouraged to attend DTE’s Customer Assistance Day on Thursday, Nov. 10, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 12, 8 a.m. to 11 a.m at Fellowship Chapel, 7707 W. Outer Dr. Walk-ins are welcome.
DTE Energy, THAW and other partner agencies will host the customer assistance event to help customers with affordable payment plans, energy saving tips and more. Customers should visit dteenergy.com/cad for more information and required documentation.
Residents in the neighborhood around Fellowship Chapel are invited to participate in free Home Energy Consultations, including energy efficiency tools, devices, materials and energy saving tips. More than 100 home energy consultations will be conducted in the neighborhood.
Irene Dimitry, vice president, Business Development, DTE Energy and Saunteel Jenkins, Chief Executive Officer, THAW will hold discussions.
On Saturday, Nov. 12 the public is invited to attend a night of celebration at the Hallelujah for Heat Gospel Concert and Awards Ceremony hosted by DTE Energy and THAW to recognize energy assistance advocates. The concert begins at 7 p.m. at Fellowship Chapel and will include a performance by national artist Marvin Sapp, with special performances by Randy Scott and the Fellowship Chapel Mime Ministry
DTE Energy executives, including David L. Johnson, senior vice president of Customer Service, and Faye Nelson, president of the DTE Energy Foundation, will be available to share information.
