Those well-known lyrics are imprinted on many of our hearts as the late Donny Hathaway crooned the classic holiday song, “This Christmas” five decades ago.
The 50th anniversary of Hathaway’s timeless song is being celebrated in a special way today. The festive lyrics to the song were brought to life through an animated special drawn by cartoonist Lonnie Milsap.
The song originally released on December 9th, 1970 has gone on to become one of the greatest holiday songs of all time.
