Dezmond Gray was born & raised on the east side of Detroit, Michigan. He is a product of the Detroit Public School system. After graduating from Cass Technical High School, he headed to Western Michigan University on a full athletic scholarship where he earned two degrees, in Business Management and Marketing.
After a short Professional football career, Dezmond went on to pursue a career in automotive manufacturing. He quickly climbed the ranks, displaying exceptional leadership and a continuous improvement mindset. He’s earned several awards and recognition in quality, cost savings, and safety.
In addition to his full time work, Dezmond has many philanthropic activities. He is an active member in his Church and mentors youth in the city of Detroit. Dezmond is also a football coach at Denby High School, and was awarded 2019 coach of the year, after leading his team to the City championship and State Semi Finals.
In any avenue, Dezmond is a pillar in the community and gives back to the very city who has molded him into the man he is today.
