Detroit Streetwear Boutique Tapped to Design Pistons-Themed Collection

Two18, a luxe streetwear boutique, has collaborated with legacy sports clothing giants Mitchell & Ness to design the My Town Homecourt Collection, a collaboration with the Detroit Pistons.

The line highlights the championship legacy of iconic Detroit Pistons teams and their empowering connection to a new generation of rising players. The collection will be available at Two18’s Eastern Market location, beginning at 2:18 pm on Friday, December 30 – and online, beginning Saturday, December 31, at 2:18 pm on www.two18.com

“I remember seeing the Pistons play at the Silverdome, Joe Louis Arena, the Palace, and now at Little Caesars Arena and it’s always been about the grit and not the glamor,” said Roland “Ro Spit” Coit, owner of Two18. “We wanted to create a collection that is a throwback, that digs in, but one that also pushes forward.”

Paying homage to the Pistons’ championship legacy, the line features staple pieces such as a vintage tee featuring Isiah “Zeke” Thomas on the front and the team’s 1989 playoff championship run documented on the back. There’s also a hat noting all the years the Detroit Pistons won an NBA championship: 1989, 1990, and 2004. The collection ranges in price from $36 – $180 and features a variety of items, including tees, hats, as well as hoodies, jerseys, and jersey shorts.
