Detroit Riverfront Conservancy to inform residents of area's development progress

DETROIT, MI – The Detroit Riverfront Conservancy will host a community meeting Oct. 17 at the UAW-GM Center for Human Resources that’s expected provided an update about the riverfront’s development plans.

An interesting note on the Riverfront Conservancy’s website about the meeting location at 200 Walker Street: “Ample underground parking for U.S. manufactured cars. All other vehicles to use street parking.”

Those interested in attending the meeting are encouraged to RSVP by Friday by either calling (313) 566-8248 or e-mailing info@detroitriverfront.org.

The non-profit RiverFront Conservancy was formed in 2003 and has made plenty of progress on five and a half miles of riverfront from the Ambassador Bridge to just east of the MacArthur (Belle Isle) Bridge.
