Detroit Police Officer Rodney Jones Laid To Rest Today

28 year Detroit Police Veteran, Rodney Jones, 49, will be laid to rest today. Jones, collapsed during a motorcycle event in Flint, the event was not work related.

A family hour begins at 10 a.m. today at the church, 23500 W. Seven Mile Road. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery, 19975 Woodward Ave., in Detroit.

He is survived by his wife and children. Arrangements are being handled by Swanson Funeral Home.
