DTW seeking airport ambassadors

detroit_metro_airport.jpgDetroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW) is looking for a few good men, women and teens to serve as customer service ambassadors. DTW will host a fair to attract volunteers for the airport and more than 30 local organizations.
From 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Friday, May 20, 2016, interested individuals can meet with representatives from several community groups at Wayne County Community College District’s Downriver Campus – Performing Arts Center, 21000 Northline Road, Taylor, Michigan 48180.

“The recruitment fair is a win-win,” said Thomas Naughton, Airport Authority CEO. “Our region has a lot of caring people; we want to connect them with community groups that need their help. Also, we have great volunteers here at the airport. We’d like to expand our team to continue enhancing the service we provide to our customers. By holding this event for a second year, everyone benefits.”

Each participating organization will have a table and representatives on hand to answer questions from potential volunteers. Attendees will have the chance to learn more about the organizations and find out how to get involved.
