The Detroit Economic Growth Corporation wants Detroit residents to be informed about the business services offered in the city. DEGC is launching the “D1 Business Connection,” which will serve the business community of Detroit. Community residents will learn about navigating city services (permitting, licensing, personal property taxes, business opportunity program) and small business development (funding options, technical assistance, quality talent, marketing and promotions). The event will take place from 2 to 4 PM weekly at three neighborhood locations:
Mondays- DigiMax Business Center (18461 W. McNichols)
Tuesdays- Design Center at Old Redford (17340 Lasher Rd.)
Thursdays- Grand River Workplace (19120 Grand River)
District 1 is a community in Detroit that includes neighborhoods such as Rosedale Park, Grandmont Community, Brightmoor, and Old Redford. Grand River Avenue is the main road in D1 which runs from the Eastside to the Westside of Detroit. Each event will be hosted by D1 Business Liasion Tenecia Johnson.
