The city of Detroit, known for its rich musical history, is gearing up for its biggest dance music weekend on Memorial Day. On Sunday, May 28, 2023, the 5th annual Detroit Diaspora Day Party will take place at Epiphany Community House in the city’s East English Village Neighborhood. The event promises to be a celebration of Detroit’s artistic and cultural communities, with a focus on showcasing their contributions to the world.
The party will feature a lineup of exquisite music selectors from Detroit and around the country, playing electronic music that fits the mode of dance music most popular in the city during this holiday weekend.
