For over one hundred years, Detroit has had an extraordinary history as a breeding ground and launching pad in the boxing community. Producing some of the greatest legends including Joe Louis, Thomas Hearns, Sugar Ray Robinson and Hall of Fame trainers like Eddie Futch and Emmanuel Steward, Detroit is the perfect place to launch a succession of top-notch boxing shows.
“Detroit city is the center of world class boxing, some of the greatest boxers have come out of this city,” said promoter Dmitriy Salita.“ Fight fans don’t have to go to Las Vegas to experience world-class boxing, it will happen right here in Detroit.” he continued.
The first show will take place on February 6th at the Masonic Temple in downtown Detroit. Each show in the series will feature a performance by a local musician and highlight boxers from all around the world. The up and coming Detroit-area hitters placed on the card include:

Antonio Wade – Detroit, Super welterweight – (1-0)
Ed Williams – Detroit, super welterweight – (10-1-1)
James Ballard – Detroit, light heavyweight – (5-0)
The Detroit fighters are all up-and-coming boxers making a name for themselves in the world of professional boxing. James Gordon Smith, a former national champion in the amateurs is looking to win his 9th fight against Antwan Robertson (10-14-1) of Saint Paul, Minnesota.
