Detroit Area Agency on Aging holds special community forums

share the love campaign 2015As funding cuts for senior services begin to take effect, Detroit Area Agency on Aging wants to learn how to better accommodate the needs of seniors and caregivers in the community. DAAA will host its first Friendly Community Forum on Wednesday, Dec. 2, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Northwest Activity Center, 18100 Meyers Rd. Detroit, MI. To register for the event, please contact the Detroit Area Agency on Aging RSVP Hotline at (313) 446-444, ext. 5227 by November 27, 2015.
During the forum, there will be refreshments, raffle prizes, roundtable discussions on aging trends, an information fair, and community surveys.

  • Thursday, December 10, 2015 from 1-4 p.m. at Services For Older Citizens, 158 Ridge Rd. Detroit, MI 48236

Seniors, caregivers, service provides, elected officials, senior advocacy groups, and the general public are invited. You will have the opportunity to hear and speak with individuals who are passionate about assisting senior and caregivers in the best way possible.
