Friday, December 4, 2020 – Detroit, Michigan. New Paradigm For Education is excited to announce its virtual town hall series “Learning During A Pandemic” Part 2 of 6 taking place on Zoom on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at 6 p.m. The town hall will focus on Mental Health and features New Paradigm For Education CEO Ralph Bland as moderator; celebrity guest actor, author, life coach Dondre’ Whitfield; and a panel of experts in mental health and wellness.
The current climate in education is like nothing we’ve faced before. Educators are navigating teaching from a distance while maintaining the same quality of education. Many students struggle with connecting and learning remotely. Parents are tasked with balancing this schedule upheaval with work and other life responsibilities. All of these changes are undoubtedly causing higher levels of stress and burnout. Many worry deeply about the emotional toll this climate is taking on the educational experience and the chaos this school year may be causing for students, teachers and parents. To address this concern, New Paradigm For Education is gathering experts to provide advice and resources to support the Detroit education community.
