Chene Park Amphitheatre Announces New Edition Will Perform July 25 During the Summer Concert Series

Detroit, MI — After much anticipation, The Right Productions Inc., managers of Chene Park Amphitheatre, have announced the first show in the 2014 summer concert series. New Edition will take the Chene Park Amphitheatre stage on Friday, July 25 at 8:00 p.m. Tickets for the show go on sale Friday, March 7at 10 a.m. at all Ticketmaster outlets. All six members of the group will be on stage. Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins, Ronnie DeVoe, Ralph Tresvant, Johnny Gill and Bobby Brown will give fans their chart topping songs like “Candy Girl”, “Can You Stand the Rain” and “Mr. Telephone Man” including songs from the members solo projects.
The venue, located on the beautiful riverfront of Detroit, has featured a wide variety of performers representing all genres of music for over 30 years. This season promises to bring more diverse acts and big name stars.
Shahida Mausi, President/CEO of The Right Production Inc. said; “The line up for the 2014 season is one of our strongest and will bring new audiences to this treasured jewel of Detroit, while continuing to draw in supporters who have been coming for years”. The full 2014-concert series line up will be announced the first week of April.
Tickets for the show are priced at: Lawn $45; Upper Bowl $60; Premium upper bowl $75; Lower bowl $90; Pit $150. All shows are rain or shine. Tickets are available at all Ticketmaster outlets including Ticketmaster.com. The pre-sale code for Thursday is Chene2014. The Chene Park Box Office is not open at this time for ticket sales. It will open in early April.
