Former Cincinnati Bengals receiver Chad Johnson was released from jail Monday after he was sentenced June 10 to 30 days in jail for playfully slapping his lawyer on the backside.
While he was in jail, former teammate Terrell Owens visited him.
Upon his release, he was asked, “What’s next?”

“Me? I’m going to McDonald’s,” Johnson said.
A reporter then asked him what he was going to order.
“No. 1, extra cheese. No onions,” Johnson answered.

It was a different side of Johnson that apologized to Broward County Circuit Judge Kathleen McHugh, who accepted the apology and cut his 30-day jail term for a probation violation to the seven days.
“I just wanted to apologize for disrespecting the court last time,” Johnson said in court. “I apologize. I did have time to reflect on the mistakes I made in this courtroom.”Continue to AL.com…
