It’s that time of the year again, the time to celebrate those who have paved a way and granted us many opportunities that we may not have had otherwise. The month of February we celebrate Black History Month, by honoring, and showing homage to those who were risk takes, innovators, motivators, and self-starters. Our city is nothing shy from being one of the heavy hitters for African-Americans making history. From the start of Motown, to marches and movements held right here, this city has its share of Black History activities for you and your family to enjoy and embark on history.
