On July 1, 7‑Eleven will drop one FREE SMALL Slurpee drink coupon* into the accounts of all 7Rewards® loyalty app members. The personalized offer is redeemable the entire month of July, so customers can get their birthday present from 7‑Eleven when it’s convenient for them.

Quench your thirst this Sunday, July 11 with a free frozen drink on “Free Slurpee Day” at 7-Elven locations.
7-Eleven’s free Slurpee Day returns to celebrate the company’s 94th birthday.
However, this year it is a little different. Instead of giving away freebies only on July 11 like usual, the convenience store plans to make it a month-long deal for members of its 7Rewards loyalty program.
At the beginning of the month, 7-Eleven placed a free small Slurpee drink coupon into each 7Reward members account redeemable all throughout July. New members, including the ones after July 1, will still be eligible for the coupon that expires July 31.
“7-Eleven’s birthday falls in the middle of Brain freeze season,” Marissa Jarrett, the company’s senior vice president and chief marketing officer said in a news release. “Or as some people call it, summer. Regardless, it’s a perfect time for a freezing cold drink and we like to celebrate it with Slurpee drinks, our favorite 7‑Eleven memories, experiences and a month-long party.”
Although limited to one free Slurpee per member, not only does it bring smiles to all participating U.S. locations, but it also safely performs it as well. The celebration was stretched out “to avoid having millions of Americans crowded around Slurpee machines on a single day,” according to the news release.
This could not come at a better time for some families in the Metro-Detroit area, as June rainstorms and floods left people without power and others with lost or damaged valuables due to the inclement weather.
Local resident Kevin Smith, 18, hopes it can create a spark of happiness for them.
“I think it will bring joy to the whole community that lost something,” Smith said. “If their day was not going well and they did not have much to look forward to, now they have something to look forward to, they have a free Slurpee.”
