Join Abayomi CDC for an afternoon dedicated to self-care, empowerment, and supporting Black-owned businesses. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to invest in yourself and your community.

This collaborative event, organized in partnership with Black Leaders Detroit (BLD), Detroit Development Fund, and the Michigan Black Business Alliance, is dedicated to empowering and uplifting Black business owners. By focusing on holistic wellness and providing valuable resources, the event aims to support them in enhancing their personal and professional lives.

Here’s what is planned for Sunday:

  • Wellness Services: Free massages and facials to leave you feeling refreshed and pampered.
  • Workshops and Sessions: Wellness workshops and yoga sessions to boost your mental and physical health.
  • Product Vendors: A variety of health and wellness products from local vendors.
  • One-on-One Coaching: Personalized business coaching from Build Institute to help take your entrepreneurial skills to the next level.
  • Panel Conversation and Pitch Competition: A dynamic panel discussion with industry leaders, followed by a pitch competition where winners receive financial support to further their business dreams.

Self-Care Sunday is a free, family-friendly wellness event held every third Sunday from March to September. It promotes well-being, healthy living, and community connection and is gearing up for our new fitness facility and wellness program, Be Well.
