Carla Walker-Miller Featured in Documentary as Global Visionary

Carla Walker-Miller, Founder and CEO of Detroit-based Walker-Miller Energy Services, one of the largest African American- and woman-owned energy waste reduction firms in the country, is featured in The Unstoppables, a dynamic documentary that celebrates some of the world’s most visionary entrepreneurs. 

The Unstoppables, produced by Ernst & Young (EY) in collaboration with CNBC Catalyst, is currently airing on CNBC television in over 100 international markets, including the United States. The first iteration of The Unstoppables launched in 2020 and was watched by over six million people, with 68 million impressions and 45 million video views. It’s a phenomenal way to showcase how entrepreneurs like Walker-Miller are reframing the future and rising to solve the world’s greatest challenges.

In this latest documentary, Walker-Miller, who earned the award for EY Entrepreneur Of The Year Michigan and Northwest Ohio Region in 2017, shares her journey as an entrepreneur as well as her vision for a more sustainable future of energy. She has demonstrated a relentless commitment to diversifying the workforce, aggressively recruiting Black people and people of color, women, people who identify as LGBTQI, people living with disabilities, returning citizens, and veterans. Walker-Miller also shares how her personal values continue to guide her company’s growth.
