Originally started as a monthly downtown music celebration at CMP, 4th Fridays in the Park have now expanded to include a marketplace for artisan food and goods vendors. This year’s 4th Fridays in the Park will now carry over into Saturdays as well, with kids’ activities, movies and more music.
“Fourth Fridays in the Park has become a much anticipated event,” says Summer in the Park Programming and Special Events Director, Njia Kai. “It’s all about continuing to build on the social, cultural and economic revitalization of downtown.”
August’s headliner will be The Wailers.
