The 2024 American Black Film Festival (ABFF) is set to dazzle attendees with an array of immersive cinematic music experiences, thanks to Cadillac, celebrating its 14th year as a proud sponsor. The highlight of Cadillac’s involvement will be the Cadillac Lounge, located at The Fillmore Miami Beach, which promises to be a vibrant hub for festival-goers to relax, recharge, and enjoy an impressive lineup of exclusive events.
The Cadillac Lounge Experience
The Cadillac Lounge will offer guests a unique blend of entertainment and engagement, featuring:
Top-tier musical performances: Festival attendees will be treated to live performances by acclaimed artists, including Grammy award-winning artist Lucky Daye and rising star KIRBY.
Live podcast recordings: Demetria L. Lucas will host live recordings of her popular and critically acclaimed Ratchet & Respectable podcast, featuring thought-provoking interviews with industry leaders.

Cultural conversations: Engaging discussions with cultural leaders such as Jessica Nabongo, the first Black woman to travel to every country in the world, and renowned art collectors Sol Apante, Jennia Freirique Aponte, and Dawn Limerick.
Interactive vehicle showcase: Guests can get up close with Cadillac’s all-electric vehicle lineup, including the LYRIQ, Escalade IQ, and OPTIQ, and participate in EV ride-and-drive experiences.

Thursday, June 13
9 – 11 AM: “Coffee & Cadillacs: Lights, Camera, Action!” – A breakfast conversation with Jessica Nabongo.
1 – 2 PM: “The Art of Collecting: A Journey into Black Art” – A discussion with Sol Apante, Jennia Fredrique Aponte, and Dawn Limerick.
3 – 4 PM: Ratchet & Respectable live podcast with Jessica Nabongo.
6 – 7:15 PM: Cadillac Presents: Music in Motion featuring Lucky Daye.
Friday, June 14
3 – 4 PM: Ratchet & Respectable live podcast with special guests.

The Cadillac Lounge will be open from 11 AM to 8 PM on June 13 and from Noon to 8 PM on June 14, with test drives available during these hours.
Celebrating Black Artists and Innovators
Cadillac has long been a champion of Black artists across film, television, music, and beyond. The 2024 ABFF will once again see Cadillac celebrating these achievements through a series of experiences designed to inspire and engage. Demetria L. Lucas, known for her insightful and engaging interviews, will allow festival attendees to connect with some of the biggest names in the industry, delving into the hottest topics in film, culture, and beyond.
Music in Motion, a film score-inspired experience curated by Feel the SPACE, will celebrate Black music in film through intimate performances and highlight the vital role music plays in cinema.
