The first annual My Dream BIG Club Conference is coming to Detroit, launched by metro Detroit husband and wife pair, Seun and Omonye Phillips. This one-day conference encourages attendees to, “Channel Your Inner Excellence,” giving them the resources to realize their own potential through panels, hands-on workshops, accountability pairing, organic networking and personal stories of overcoming adversity from speakers based in metro Detroit. The conference takes place Saturday, September 14, 2019 from 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the Greektown Casino-Hotel in Detroit.
Seun and Omonye Phillips are metro Detroit-area leaders, at the Michigan Economic Development Corporation and Rite Aid respectively, who are inspiring their peers to grow. After hearing others around them share their desire for personal and professional growth, they launched My Dream BIG Club, now in its second year. It began in their home as regular meetings to challenge one another, attracting more than 1,000 of the Detroit area’s greatest minds at workshops, panel discussions and volunteer events since its launch. The Club’s impact is now amplified by the first-ever My Dream BIG Club Conference.
“We saw a need to bring together like-minded individuals who want to push themselves and create an outlet where they can get together and motivate each other,” said Omonye Phillips, My Dream BIG Club co-founder. “People want to tap more into their potential. Through this conference, attendees will have the chance to build themselves by learning from other’s experiences.”
My Dream BIG Club’s Conference will give attendees the opportunity to challenge themselves and enrich their own self-empowerment through personal and professional growth. Millennials are a key audience for conference, though anyone with a growth mindset will find the program fulfilling.
