Ben Wallace Elected into Basketball Hall of Fame

Former Pistons center Ben Wallace was recently inducted into the 2021 Basketball Hall of Fame class, according to multiple reports including WXYZ.

Wallace is joining the high ranks of this basketball club alongside late legend Kobe Bryant, who was also recently inducted posthumously, the Michigan Chronicle reported.

Wallace was elected to the Basketball Hall of Fame, as a member of the class of 2021, ESPN’s Marc Spears reported on Saturday, per WXYZ.

Wallace was a four-time All-Star and four-time defensive player of the year, according to the article. He was undrafted out of Virginia Union University. The Pistons then retired his jersey number in 2016, according to the article.

The entire class will be announced on Sunday at the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame and museum, according to the story.
