Deshayla Harris, 28, one of the “Bad Girls Club” season 17 stars was one of the victims in last Friday night’s chaotic shootings in Virginia Beach, Virginia, CNN wrote in a recent article.
Harris, 28, was identified by Virginia Beach police as one of two people who was killed in one of three separate shootings. Harris was a bystander at the scene of a shooting, police confirmed in the article.
Donovon Lynch, 25, was killed by a Virginia Beach police officer — a block away from where Harris died in a separate shooting. Singer-songwriter Pharrell Williams is speaking out regarding Lynch’s death — who was the celebrity’s cousin.
“It is critical my family and the other victims’ families get the transparency they deserve,” Williams said on Twitter. “VA Beach is the epitome of hope and we will get through this.”
At least four people remained hospitalized Sunday at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital because of the shootings, a medical representative told CNN. The first separate shooting appeared to be from a fight among a group of people on Atlantic Avenue, police said.
Police said many people were wounded.
Three men identified were arrested in connection with the shooting.
