Amazon’s new fulfillment center in Pontiac, located on the former Silverdome site, is ramping up operations and actively hiring. Simultaneously, Amazon’s “XL” fulfillment center in Huron Charter Township has begun hiring. Candidates can learn more about both opportunities and apply online at www.amazon.com/detroitjobs.
Sign-on bonuses of up to $1,000 are available at both locations. Additionally, a $100 benefit will be offered on the first day of work to any new hire who comes to Amazon already vaccinated for COVID-19.
Work opportunities include full-time warehouse associates who will make at least $15.50 per hour (up t $18.50), with no prior experience necessary.
