All-Inclusive Grooming ‘Ivy Salon’ Set to Open

DETROIT —  The Ivy Salon is set for a grand opening in the coming days. The new shop is located along Woodward Ave. just three blocks south of Nine Mile Rd. in Ferndale.

“It’s much more to us than you know,” said, Anthony Chambers, co-owner of The Ivy Salon. “Ferndale has grown into the tissue connecting lifestyles and cultures in an 8 mile/Woodward area that historically divided people by color, creed, and socioeconomics. We intend to strengthen that tradition by providing an inclusive, supportive, and professional grooming atmosphere for ALL.”
