Actress Alaina Reed Hall, most noted for her roles as Olivia on “Sesame Street” and later as Rose Holloway on the NBC’s sitcom “227,” passed away Thursday, Dec. 17, after battling breast cancer. She was 63. Hall’s acting credits also include several stage productions, both on and off Broadway. Her films include “Me and the Kid,” “Death Becomes Her” and “Cruel Intentions.”
A cup of coincidence: “227” used the same set as “Sesame Street,” including the front steps located next to Oscar the Grouch’s trash can.
