The AARP Listens to Michigan Health Decisions Tour will make a stop in Detroit on Monday, July 14 from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at the Northeast Guidance Center, 2900 Conner.
Topics to be explored during this free event include navigating health reform, Medicare, long-term care and caregiving issues and solutions.
“We will stress the key information and advocacy resources available for many of these issues for those planning their health decisions and those already dealing with health decisions problems,” said Andrew Farmer, AARP Michigan Associate State Director for Health and Supportive Services.
AARP Michigan will invite local organizations to the tour stops to lend further assistance during a question-and-answer session.
A light meal will be provided, free of charge.
