According to reports by Detroit Free Press and WDIV Benny Napoleon has offered the position of Deputy Mayor to Krystal Crittendon.
“He did ask,” Crittendon said Sunday
“I am going to seriously consider it,” she said, “but I am going to work hard to ensure that the sheriff gets elected mayor of Detroit in the meantime.”
Crittendon ran against Napoleon in the mayoral primary race and finished in third place right behind Napoleon, Mike Duggan was confirmed the primary winner after the State of Michigan Ceriified the final vote count.
Napoleon and Duggan face off in general election this November.
