65th Annual Ford Fireworks to Illuminate Detroit Skyline

Prepare for a spectacular display of lights and colors as the countdown begins for the highly anticipated 65th Annual Ford Fireworks, set to mesmerize the Detroit skyline on Monday, June 26. Over the beautiful Detroit River, this beloved summertime tradition promises to be one of America’s largest and most magnificent fireworks shows, attracting hundreds of thousands of spectators annually. The event will be broadcast live on WDIV-Local 4, ensuring that viewers across the nation can join in the excitement.

“The Ford Fireworks is truly one of the most beautiful shows in the country, and we are thrilled to collaborate with the remarkable team at Ford Motor Company to bring this extravaganza to Detroit for its 65th year,” expressed Tony Michaels, President & CEO of The Parade Company, organizers of the event.

Emphasizing their commitment to being a good neighbor and fostering community spirit in their hometown, Ford Motor Company’s President, Mary Culler, stated, “Ford is proud to be a longstanding partner of The Parade Company, and we eagerly anticipate uniting everyone once again for the 2023 Ford Fireworks. Together, we will celebrate and pay homage to America, our great city, and the remarkable people and communities that make Detroit truly special.”

The Parade Company, serving as producers of the Ford Fireworks, meticulously selects the musical arrangement for the show and exclusively collaborates with Zambelli Fireworks. Their partnership ensures the creation of a breathtaking spectacle featuring over 10,000 pyrotechnic effects, visible for miles along the Detroit River. The show’s choreographer boasts an impressive resume, having orchestrated fireworks displays for global events like the Olympics.

The Ford Fireworks Rooftop Party presented by Ford Motor Company, a significant fundraising event benefiting The Parade Company Foundation, has already sold out.
