Wayne County Executive Warren C. Evans has endorsed Democratic presidential candidate Mike Bloomberg, touting Mike’s plans to drive economic empowerment and create opportunities for all Americans. He applauded his commitment to communities of color and vision for a country in which everyone can thrive.

Born in Detroit, Warren Evans is the current Wayne County Executive, former Wayne County Sheriff, and former Chief of Police for the City of Detroit. Elected in 2014 amidst a financial crisis, Evans has led the effort to restore ethical leadership and financial health for Wayne County since taking office. Evans has worked tirelessly to attract sustainable economic development and opportunity to the County and protect vital services throughout Wayne County’s 43 distinct communities, including Detroit.
