The Michigan and Michigan State Men’s Basketball teams both won their first in-conference games this week.
Michigan State, ranked #19 nationally, beat Minnesota on Wednesday night 75-67. Three players, for Coach Tom Izzo’s Spartans, scored 15 points in the game including starters Gabe Brown and Tyson Walker. Malik Hall also added 15 points off the bench. Michigan State will host Penn State on Saturday.
The Michigan Wolverines easily won their game 102-67 against Nebraska on Tuesday night. The Wolverines fell out of the national rankings after three out of conference losses earlier in the season. The team was led by Sophomore Forward Terrance Williams II with 22 points in the game. Michigan will also play their next game on Saturday, hosting Minnesota.
