ESPN’s Chris Broussard was right all along.

The decision has been made. Kevin Durant is going to be a Golden State Warrior, according to the Players Tribune.

Durant spent eight seasons with the Oklahoma City Thunder, where he was a four-time scoring champ. He and superstar teammate, point guard Russell Westbrook, guided the Thunder to the Western Conference Finals in four of the last six years and went to the NBA Finals once, in 2012, where they were beaten 4-games-1 by LeBron James and the Miami Heat.

The Washington D.C. native signed a two-year, $54 million deal with the Warriors and they automatically vaulted above the Cleveland Cavaliers as the number one story in American sports, even though they have yet to win a title with Durant

Durant said, “I know that I am disappointing a lot of people with this choice, but I believe I am doing what is best for my career at this point.”
