PONTIAC – Rep. Brenda Lawrence will host a Winter Resource Fair to bring together 14th District constituents with local agencies, organizations, and companies that can assist residents in preparation for the fall and winter season. This includes helping residents with applications for reduced utility bills as well as affordable housing needs and food assistance. The goal is to address these issues now to prevent the life-threatening loss of heat and water services, nutrition, clothing, and shelter during severe cold weather months.
The Winter Resource Fair will take place from noon to 2 p.m.at Robert W. Bowens Community Center, 52 Bagley in Pontiac.
