Detroit Recover Project (DRP), in partnership with Rolling Out Magazine, presents “Rejuvenation and Reestablishing Your Health and Well-Being”. The 6th Annual Women’s Leadership Conference will be held Saturday, February 27 from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm at the Westside Recovery Resource Center, 1145 West Grand Blvd in Detroit. Phaedra Parks of Real Housewives of Atlanta, Sabrina Peterson, Founder of Glam University and Munson Steed, CEO of Steed Media Group, will team up for a powerful, transparent and enlightening panel discussion on the “Female Success Factor”.
Parks is a respected attorney, businesswoman, media personality, motivational speaker, author and social activist from Atlanta, Georgia. She is a Managing Partner of The Parks Group, P.C. an Atlanta based boutique law firm that caters nationally to entertainers and athletes. Parks is no stranger to reinventing herself; her mission now is to empower women across American on person growth and achieving success.
“A powerful woman is not successful because of the clothes she wears, her fortune, or her fame. A “female success factor” is a woman who uses what she has learned through her trials and tribulations to edify other woman and pay it forward. With each leadership conference, we aim to invest and strengthen women to their highest potential,” says Andre Johnson, CEO of Detroit Recovery Project.
Panelists will cover topics relating to heroin and the prescription drug epidemic, creating a recovery success network, goal setting and monitoring physical and mental health. Continental breakfast and lunch will be served. Admission is free; transportation and daycare will be provided at no charge to attendees. To register, please contact Timina Smith via email at tsmith@recovery4detroit.com or call 313-365-3106.
