With the presidential election right around the corner on Nov. 3, Michiganders are anxious to see the final results and the proof is in the pudding.
Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden is ahead in Michigan polls by five to eight points, but that isn’t stopping his political competition from making visits in the Great Lake State.
President Trump will hold a rally Oct. 17 on “supporting law enforcement” in Muskegon. This will be Trump’s first visit back to Michigan since being hospitalized for COVID-19 on Oct. 2. The rally will begin at 5 p.m.
His most recent campaign stop was held Sep. 10 in Saginaw County.
The Trump campaign has taken a particular interest in Michigan. Eric Trump, the president’s son, made a stop in Novi Tuesday. Vice President Mike Pence is scheduled to appear in Grand Rapids Wednesday.
“We are winning this state. We are going to win Michigan, make no mistake about it,” Eric Trump told voters Tuesday.
Trump won Michigan by 10,704 votes in the 2016 presidential election.
Trump is set to make more campaign appearances in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Florida, and Wisconsin.
