According to BlackAmericaWeb.com, the son of P-Funk legend George Clinton, George Clinton Jr. was found dead in his Tallahassee, Florida home on Monday.
The Leon County Sheriff’s Office was called out to his home at approximately 12:30 p.m. after a maintenance man checking on him, noting that he had not seen Clinton for several days, discovered his body. A report from the Medical Examiners Office said Clinton’s body was decomposed and that he died of natural causes.
Clinton Jr. is survived by his father and his daughter, Shonda, who performs under the moniker Sativa. Funeral arrangements have not been announced.
George Clinton Jr. was 50.
