No room for doubt; DPS teachers and students have every right to protest

This will likely be the shortest post I have ever written, and am ever likely to write. Because I tend to be long-winded and I make no apologies for that. It is what it is.

But some things are just plain obvious.

So anyone who still insists on blaming the Detroit Public Schools teachers for protesting, you might want to listen to the students because they are now protesting too – and they are protesting in support of their teachers. Anyone who is still determined to insist that both the teachers AND the students need to stop demanding their rights and return to their decrepit schools buildings and be quiet needs to take a look at the first round of school inspection reports.
