Grand River WorkPlace is a co-working space in the Grandmont Rosedale neighborhoods of Detroit that provides office space for small businesses and a retail pop-up space that gives entrepreneurs the opportunity to test out their business concepts. REVOLVE Detroit is a collaborative program of the Detroit Economic Growth Corporation that has partnered with GRDC to help activate the Grand River corridor. Trish’s Garage will be at Grand River WorkPlace until the end of the year.
“Trish’s Garage is exactly the kind of home-grown, locally-owned business we
would like to see more of in our community. It embodies the creativity and
entrepreneurial spirit that are needed to bring new life to neighborhood business
districts like Grand River,” said Tom Goddeeris, Executive Director of GRDC.
During the Ice Cream Social guests will have the opportunity to meet the Trish’s Garage staff and get a first look at the work of local artisans that will be showcased in the store. Good Cakes and Bakes and Always Brewing, both local businesses, will provide treats for the day. Folks wanting to attend are encouraged to RSVP at Eventbrite.
“I look forward to being a part of this amazing community and get feedback from the
residents. This is a really great opportunity for Trish’s Garage and I can’t wait to
meet everyone!” said Ebony Rutherford, founder and stylist of Trish’s Garage.
Trish’s Garage is known for their signature peplum tees and Detroit-themed jewelry and accessories. Trish’s Garage is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00AM to 7:00PM and closed on Sunday and Monday.
