Nene Leakes, after threatening to leave the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” for several years, it looks like she is making good on her pledge this time.
Leakes, the stripper-turned-housewife-turned reality star, was the breakout cast member when the RHOA debut and continued to be one of its central characters up until her resignation yesterday.
Leakes posted her bon voyage message to her Instagram fans just a few moments ago:

According to reports, former “Married to Medicine” star and that show’s creator, Mariah Huq, will replace Leakes on RHOA.
Also, E! Online has reported that Leakes will still be hitting the airwaves in her own spinoff show, in addition to her other show with former RHOA costar Kim Zolciak. No hard decisions have yet been made on the specifics of NeNe’s show, but they’re expected within the next week.
