Mother's Day Ideas

Mother’s Day is this Sunday, and unless you’ve already made reservations, good luck finding a table for brunch or dinner and since everybody and their mother are going to be at a restaurant on Sunday, it will be loud and crowded. Instead try one of these options:

1. Celebrate Mother’s Day on Saturday. Go to brunch or dinner a day early and avoid the crowd.

2. Mother-Daughter Spa Day. Go a totally different route and get a mani/pedi , a facial or Swedish massage.

3. Take your mother out for dinner and live music—a nice lounge atmosphere would work.

4. If there are still young children in the house, then a kid-free day may be in order. Take the kids to the movies or out for ice cream and let mom enjoy her day doing whatever her heart desires.
