The Detroit Tigers host the Cleveland Indians in a three-game series this weekend at Comerica Park, Friday, June 12 (7:08 p.m.), Saturday, June 13 (4:05 p.m.) and Sunday, June 14 (1:08 p.m.), and the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) and M-1 RAIL have issued a traffic advisory and alternative routes to Comerica Park.
As part of the ongoing MDOT and M-1 RAIL Project, crews will be closing northbound and southbound I-75 between M-10 (Lodge Freeway) and I-375 to set bridge beams at M-1 (Woodward Avenue). The full closure will begin at 7 p.m. Friday and end by 5 a.m. Monday. TRAFFIC IMPACTS: Northbound I-75 will be closed at the I-75/M-10 (Lodge Freeway)/Rosa Parks Boulevard shared ramp. The exit ramps from northbound I-75 to Clark and Livernois Avenues will remain open but the entrance ramps will be closed. In addition, the eastbound I-96 and M-10 (Lodge Freeway) ramps to northbound I-75 will be closed. The detour for northbound I-75 through traffic is westbound I-96, to eastbound I-94, to northbound I-75. One lane of traffic will remain open from northbound I-75 to M-10 for local traffic. Southbound I-75 will be closed between I-375 and M-10 (Lodge Freeway). The ramp from northbound I-375 and southbound M-3 (Gratiot Avenue) will be closed. TRAFFIC ADVISORY JUNE 12-15 FOR WEEKEND TRAFFIC HEADING TO COMERICA PARK: From southbound I-75, access will be maintained to Mack Avenue, Madison Avenue, Lafayette Boulevard, M-3 (Gratiot Avenue) and southbound I-375. Northbound I-75 will have a single lane open to southbound M-10. The Grand River Avenue exit ramp will be open for baseball game traffic with freeway signage directing drivers. Expect significant delays. Southbound M-10 exits to Grand River, southbound I-75 (to access Trumbull and Michigan Avenue), Bagley and Howard streets will be open. Parking west of Woodward, southbound M-10 is recommended Parking east of Woodward, southbound I-75/I-375 is recommended.

All parking properties west of Woodward Ave. are open two hours before the game.
