Last chance to register for DFC’s Field Guide to Working with Lots

vacant lotThe Detroit Future City (DFC) Implementation Office developed the Field Guide to Working with Lots in 2015 to advance land stewardship activities in Detroit’s neighborhoods by community groups, residents and businesses.

Over the past year, 15 Detroit grassroots organizations and individuals, who exemplified the ability to transform open space from vacant land into green infrastructure, were awarded up to $5,000 to install a lot design. Additionally, DFC has provided technical assistance across the city to groups implementing the Field Guide as part of a larger community vision.

We are thrilled to show you the fruits of their labor and to see DFC’s Field Guide lot designs come to life in Detroit’s neighborhoods!
