Well, he’s said it so I guess you should believe it.
“I’m not gay no more. I am delivered. I don’t like mens no more!” exclaims a man at the Church of God in Christ’s 107th Holy Convocation in St. Louis, Missouri. He tells the congregation he has been cured from a life of homosexuality.
The news, it appears, is making its way around the ‘Net.
The unidentified man, said to be 21-years-old added, “I said I like women. Women women women women!”
In the video clip (scroll down) he notes, “I would not date a man! I would not carry a purse! I would not put on make-up! I will, I will love a women.”
To those asking themselves if the man sounds like he’s trying to convince himself …
Hello.
This was, apparently, enough to get him a $100 bonus from the pastor though.
“God said he’s going to bless you because of your commitment. Just to prove it, he just told me to give you $100,” he told the man.
The YouTube-hosted clip which appears to have been posted by someone affiliated with the church says, “A young man received deliverance from the spirit of homosexuality during the Saturday night altar call after Supt. Earl Carter preached the fire down from heaven,”
By Tuesday afternoon, the video had already been viewed almost 300,000 times.
There was no immediate response to the comment when The Huffington Post reached out to a spokesperson for Church of God in Christ’s 107th Holy Convocation.
